Freedom Over Fear

by Brock Meadows on Sep 11 2023
Today, I want to share a captivating story about a king, a criminal, fear, and freedom – a tale that has deeply resonated with me and might do the same for you.   Once upon a time, a criminal stood before a king, facing judgment for his crime. The king presented him with a choice: death by hanging or the mysterious contents hidden behind an ironclad door. Without hesitation, the criminal chose the rope, as most do. But when curiosity got the better of him, he asked the king what lay behind the door.   The king's reply was profound: "Freedom – but everyone is so fearful of the unknown that they immediately choose the rope."   Doesn't that hit close to home? Fear is an inevitable part of life, especially in today's dynamic world. Situations arise swiftly, leaving us scared of failure, doubting our worthiness, and anxious about our ego or reputation being tarnished.   However, I've come to believe that fear, like any emotion, has its purpose. It can be a powerful tool, but it's essential to have a strategy to face it without being overwhelmed. Otherwise, fear can paralyze us, leading us to choose the metaphorical rope of inaction.   When I confront the fear of limiting beliefs, challenging circumstances, or business risks, I rely on the following strategy:   1. I step away from the noise, seeking a quiet place. This space creates a moment of detachment from the fear, allowing me to breathe and gain perspective.   2. In that moment, I turn to God through prayer, boldly seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This connection brings awareness to the gifts that fear presents: increased focus, motivation, and opportunities for growth. Reminding me to Trust in His plan, provision, and protection.    3. With that, I run towards the fear. The hardest part is facing the fear head-on. Whether it's public speaking, starting a difficult conversation, or pursuing a new path, I remind myself that fear doesn't have to hold me captive. Instead, it can be the catalyst for growth and liberation.   Remember, the path to your true potential often lies through your greatest fears.    Embrace the journey, and you'll discover the freedom to live life at full strength – just as you were designed and created to do.   If freedom is as important to you as it is to me, give this strategy a try and let me know how it empowers you!    Here's to turning fears into freedom and embracing life with unyielding strength! 🌟💪   Your Friend,   Brock   P.S. As we embark on this journey of fear to freedom, let's also spread love and joy to those we cherish! Share the sweetness of life with dulci sweets chocolates, a gift that always delivers happiness.

The Night With A Mosquito

by Brock Meadows on Aug 29 2023
In the grand tapestry of history, the threads of influence are woven intricately, shaping the narrative of human existence. It's a tale that transcends time, and at its core, lies the essence of leadership. But here's a truth often overlooked: we are all leaders in our own right, for everyone influences someone. This realization carries profound implications, redefining our perspectives on the impact we wield.   Sociologists offer a captivating insight – even the most introverted among us, those who prefer the shadows to the spotlight, will undoubtedly touch the lives of approximately 10,000 individuals over the course of a lifetime.    It's a staggering number, a testament to the web of connections that bind us. From the mundane choices like lunch preferences and movie recommendations to the weightier matters of truth and ethics, our influence ripples across the lives we touch.   Reflecting on my own journey, I find myself shaped by countless figures – my parents, teachers, friends, and family. Each interaction, each lesson, reverberates in my choices and actions. Just as I have been molded by these influences, I am compelled to acknowledge that what I say and do holds the potential to shape others' lives, for better or worse.   An African proverb speaks volumes in its simplicity: "If you think you're too small to make a difference, you haven't spent the night with a mosquito." An unassuming mosquito, minuscule in size, yet capable of causing quite a stir. This sentiment, though lighthearted, carries profound truth.    Our impact isn't measured solely by grand gestures; even the seemingly trivial actions can accumulate to evoke substantial change.   Think about it. One voice can reverberate to halt a grave injustice.    A single beacon of truth can illuminate a path obscured by deception.    An act of kindness, seemingly insignificant, can resonate enough to save a life.    It's a reminder that every individual holds the power to ignite transformation. Every smile, every word of encouragement, every small gift bestowed has the potential to catalyze a series of events that culminate in something far more significant.   Our world thrives on stories of underdogs who defied the odds, who sparked revolutions with mere words, who transformed lives through a momentary act of kindness. These narratives echo with a resounding truth: no gesture is too small, no effort too insignificant. Each seemingly minor action possesses the potential to cast ripples that reach far beyond what the eye can perceive.   So, {first name}, as you stand at the intersection of your influence and the lives intertwined with yours, embrace the wisdom of the mosquito. Recognize that your impact extends far beyond what you might envision.    Your presence, your actions, your choices – they all matter. They carry the promise of positive transformation, of shaping destinies, and leaving an indelible mark on the world around you.   May this realization embolden you to maximize your influence, to amplify your voice for truth and justice, and to sprinkle the world with kindness and compassion.    Remember, you are not confined by the limits you perceive. Your potential for influence is vast and profound, and the echo of your actions can resonate for generations to come.   In a world that often celebrates the grand and the monumental, let us not underestimate the monumental impact of the seemingly small. For in those moments, in those unassuming gestures, we find the sparks that kindle the flames of positive change.    As you journey forward, let your actions be the whispers that shape the world into a better place, one step at a time.   With unwavering faith in the power of the small,   Brock    P.S. The absolute truth of this message is exactly why dulci sweets exists. To empower people in expressing their gratitude and radiating their light through seemingly small yet profoundly impactful acts of love and thankfulness. The Heartfelt Spirit of Community

by Brock Meadows on Aug 22 2023
Try that in a small town…   I don’t think that phrase needs an explanation for Jason Aldean or us, because there is much to be said about a small town and community.     The other day I was in a country general store, (grocery, pizza, gift shop and deli) when the new teachers of the area school district all came in for a lunch break during their orientation; accompanied by the Superintendent, the High School, Middle School, Elementary Principals, and the Technology Director.    The owner of the store greeted those she knew by name, welcomed the others with a short greeting, before being asked to bless the meal, which she did.  The new team finished their lunch and boarded their bus to leave, when the owner once again went out to the team and prayed over them for the start of the new school year.    Try that in a big town or city and they would crucify you.  First, for being out on taxpayer money in a bus, with all the administration. I mean doesn’t anyone work anymore, who is going to be available for a parent if they decide to come into the school. And two, don’t get me started about the prayer.  Don’t they know about the fictional mainstream narrative of “separation of church and state”?    Yes this IS a small town, but this is also real community. This is what we as humans were created to do.  To love, help and honor one another as Christ loves us.  It didn’t take much, it wasn’t a long drawn-out action, but a simple gesture to say hello, welcome new staff members to the area and ask that God bless their work this year.     This is why we started dulci sweets – to stand against the current of divisiveness and the wokeness of the world.  We wanted to be mindful of where we spend our time and money and choose to do business with like-minded businesses and individuals that are committed to our shared values: honoring God, Family, Country and Community.  We believe in the power of a simple act to uplift and connect – to let someone know they are worthy, valued and loved! That’s it. Oh, and make and share exceptional chocolate treats.   Try this in a small town and you will get a hug, a thank you, a prayer and maybe even a couple tears.  And if you are reading this, YOU are part of our dulci sweets community!  That gives us reason to celebrate and Thank God for you today.   So go out, share a smile, give a blessing, hug or share a delicious chocolate treat with a friend or a stranger.  And tag us when you do it.  #goodnessreceived   Blessings,   Mike   P.S. We are a purpose-driven, faith-centered company that gratefully serves people who love extraordinary chocolate – and want the people around them to know they are worthy, valued and loved.

Flaws Don’t Prevent You From Being Fabulous

by Brock Meadows on Aug 15 2023
Stories have a magical way of weaving life lessons, and this one's a gem. While the author of this story is unknown, it presents a beautiful message and shares a most important truth…   To accept oneself as he/she is, and to celebrate the uniqueness that God created in each of us.    May it bless and encourage you to shine your light as bright as possible.    A water-bearer had two large pots, both hung on the ends of a pole, which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.    At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot always arrived half full.    The poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.    After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water-bearer one day by the stream: ‘I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you.    I have been able to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.    Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don’t get full value from your efforts.’    The bearer said to the pot, ‘Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have always known about your flaw, and I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you’ve watered them.    Puzzled, the Cracked pot wondered what on-earth the water-bearer’s words meant. He seemed to be suggesting that its story of lack, unworthiness and shame, was in some way faulty. As to how this could be, it could not comprehend.   For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.’   Now, the cracked pot understood. Now the cracked pot began to see itself in a new light. Now it understood that indeed it had been telling itself a faulty story.    If its’ experience of being a ‘cracked pot’ was going to change then it would have to change the story that it was telling itself.   Thankfully, God uses cracked pots!   You do not need to be perfect for God to use you. We need to accept our personal challenges as part of our beautiful individuality and direct our attention to our own personal gifts and the good we can do.    We want our lives to count for something. If you want to be useful to God, know that you are loved, and do all the good you can with all you have been given, right where you are.    Go out boldly, knowing that in our weakness we find His strength, and that "In Him every one of God's promises is a Yes."   YES! You are wonderfully made,   Brock   P.S. Focusing on the positive aspects of ourselves allows us to amplify these qualities and share our goodness with those around us – #GoodnessCreatedToBeShared

Dance To The Rhythm of The Process

by Brock Meadows on Aug 08 2023
You are in for a real treat today, for this message comes straight from Mike (the Candyman), himself.    If we didn’t say so from the start, about halfway through you would have realized it wasn’t from Brock, because he doesn’t own a hammer and we never let him repair or build anything. 😉 Absolute Truth!    Okay, let's dive into something deep. Do you ever find yourself chasing that elusive thing called peace? Hey, no shame, we've all been there! But here's a little secret sauce I want to share with you - it's all about embracing the process!   I am a bit of a control freak, or maybe to describe it better, a perfectionist. There is a process for everything and everything has a foundational process.    In other words, there is a right way to do something (usually mine 😊) And that way done correctly, will achieve the optimal result.     Take the dishwasher for instance.  There is a right way to load the dishwasher to achieve;   A. the maximum capacity of dishes to be washed B. the best clean.     The manufacturer of said dishwasher created a manual based on the design and engineering of this machine to inform us of this process and yet, some people in my family just throw the dishes haphazardly into the dishwasher with no semblance of order or reasoning. With a total disregard for the process and without a care in the world of how the dishes are supposed to go.    They figure the dishes will still get clean and you know what?  They’re right!   My happiest times in my life are when I work with my hands, building and creating.  Whether I am remodeling a house or building a craft, or even making new candy recipes; this is where I find the most peace.    Scratch that, it is not usually in the project but looking back on it where I find the most peace.    Why? Because often time in the process, I am frustrated, defeated and angry that something, some part of or the entire project is failing. (Did I mention I was a little but of a perfectionist?)    My expectations are one thing and my results are another. So, I have to re-group, re-do or re-start. I have to let go of the outcome and focus on the process and when I do that, that is when peace sets in.     Have you ever just let go and let the process take over?  Knowing that if you do A,B,C, if will lead you to D?  Even if you are unsure of what D is?  Oh and sometimes, if you skip C, it will still get you D, just not in the way you expected.    For me, Peace does not come when I have control, it comes when I no longer need control.   I can’t control my circumstances, but I can control my response to them.   I can’t control the actions of others, but I can control how I choose to let them affect me.   I can’t control the outcome, but I can control the process.   So today I encourage you to find a little peace by letting go of the outcomes. Focus instead on the process and the little joys that shape our days.   Be in the moment, dance to the rhythm of the process, and leave the results to God.   Let the rest flow like sweet candy in a river of life.   Sweet Regards,   Mike – aka The Candyman    P.S. As we approach National Son & Daughter Day on Friday, August 11th, let's cherish these seemingly minor yet significant occasions, serving as gentle reminders to nurture our family relationships before the hustle of back-to-school and the full swing of fall activities engulfs us.

Point and Purpose of This Grand Adventure

by Brock Meadows on Aug 01 2023
In the extraordinary journey of life, there are Three Grand Essentials that hold the key to happiness and longevity. While one might argue for additional elements, I firmly believe that these three bear the weight of significance, especially considering the profound impact they have on our lives.   1. Something to Do - Engaging, Purposeful, and Fulfilling Work:   Embrace the fact that we are inherently designed to move, create, and contribute. Staying stagnant on the couch, endlessly binge-watching shows on Netflix won't lead to growth or reaching our full potential. To live life to the fullest, we must keep our bodies in motion.   Throughout our days, we often lose track of how much time we spend sitting. From long work hours to commuting, we have become accustomed to convenience. Running errands used to involve physical interaction, but now we rely on online shopping and home deliveries. It's essential to recognize the importance of being proactive and engaged in worthwhile endeavors that align with our missions and goals.   2. Someone to Love - Nurturing Quality Relationships:   As social beings, we thrive in connection, belonging, and caring for others. Authentic relationships with our spouse, family, friends, and our spiritual connection to God play a vital role in our happiness and well-being. Yet, it's crucial to differentiate between genuine relationships and the shallow world of social media.   While social media may provide a sense of connection, it often fails to fulfill our deeper human needs. The incessant exposure to carefully curated, edited portrayals of others can lead to despair and loneliness, particularly among younger generations. True happiness and health arise when we experience genuine social belonging, sharing common interests with like-minded individuals in real-life communities.   3. Something to Hope For - Embracing Purpose and Aspirations:   Hope is a potent force that ignites our spirits and pushes us forward. Embracing purpose and envisioning a brighter future, where our contributions have a lasting impact, fills our hearts with purpose and energy. Recognize that you were intentionally created by God, in His image, and endowed with unique talents.   Your talents are God's gifts to you, and how you use them becomes your gift back to Him.   Embrace your journey of growth, maximizing your potential, and sowing seeds of goodness that benefit others. This sense of purpose instills within us the desire and determination to persevere through life's challenges, anticipating great things to happen and striving to make a positive difference in God's kingdom.   Remember, it may take effort, but the path is clear once you know what to do. Consistently living with purpose and hope will ultimately shape your destiny, guiding you towards a life filled with love, meaning, and fulfillment.   May you live life to the fullest, guided by the power of love, purpose, and hope, propelling you towards a future of endless possibilities.   Your Friend,   Brock    P.S. dulci sweets is a company, and community that shares the common healthy interest of God, Family, Country, and Community. Our products and messages aspire to encourage and support positive behaviors that honor and uphold each of those values.

Advice That Always Wins

by Brock Meadows on Jul 25 2023
Disclaimer - the following is not glamours. It might be met with resistance and allure of the ‘easy’ path, but it works – Every Time! Work like a Farmer…. Train and Compete like an Athlete… Fight like a soldier… Those are three character traits and reminders that I shared with my oldest son during a recent conversation about his desire to improve and win in his athletic endeavors.  Given who you are and our mission to serve, support, and strengthen you, I thought sharing a portion of it with you would be of value to you too.  Fill in the blank…. I want to accomplish_______ in the area of my career. I want to make a difference for _______ doing ______. I want my family to _______________. I want my business to reach ____________. Whatever answers, goals, wishes, wants fill the blanks, the difference between who you are and who you want to be lies in your actions.  I personally believe the following 3 reminders of our actions is a solid foundation to build from; Work like a Farmer…. Train and Compete like an Athlete… Fight like a soldier… Hand to the plow. Do the work. Add Value to others. Become more Valuable to your environment and the people in it.  And this is instruction straight from the good book. 2 Timothy 2:3-6. When we look at the entire text of Second Timothy 2:3-6, we understand that God is telling us: “If you will fight like a soldier; if you will prepare and compete like an athlete; and if you will put your heart and soul into working in your field the way a hard-working farmer does — here is what I will do for you. I am establishing a permanent rule — one that can never be changed, altered, or modified — and I am making it a top priority and a necessity that when your battle is over and you’ve proven yourself to be a good soldier; when your spiritual opponents are defeated and you’ve won your competition; when you’ve plowed your fields and your crops begin to grow and mature before your eyes — you WILL eat before anyone else eats!” You see, God wants you to eat and enjoy the fruit of your labors, just as a hard-working farmer does after giving his life to see his crops grow in his field. Your part is to work your land and labor strenuously to see your dream come to pass; then God promises that you will eventually eat the fruit of your hard work! As you focus on doing your job well, you can expect to be blessed, recognized, rewarded, and remunerated for your efforts, for God says that anyone who works hard and sticks with his project to the end deserves to eat the fruit (and chocolate too)! Soldiers deserve rewards. Good athletes earn recognition. Farmers have every right to eat their crops. And if you are living and fighting by faith to see a certain victory in your life, you can claim God’s promise that a day is coming when you will eat the sweet fruit and chocolate of victory! As we march forward, fueled by faith, we must remember that our purpose extends beyond personal gain. This world needs leaders, friends, husbands, wives, and parents who exemplify strength, love, and perseverance.  Let’s lead by example – Hand To The Plow! Your Friend, Brock  P.S. I encourage you to share this message with someone you believe will benefit from it. Together, we can support and uplift each other as we strive to fulfill our God-given purposes.

World Chocolate Day

by Brock Meadows on Jul 11 2023
With all the Amazing Festivities last week celebrating our Nation’s Birthday, it might come as a surprise that just a few days ago the world celebrated another important day.  While not as grand as the commemoration of America's Independence, I’m certain many fights have broken out because someone tried to take theirs or keep it from them. 😳😩 What could I possibly be talking about?  Chocolate of course! The universally adored delight.  Surprising as it may be, July 7th was World Chocolate Day?  Who knew, right? 🤷‍♂️ My first question is why the heck would the powers that be choose July, the middle of Summer, to be the time of year for an annual celebration of chocolate?  Hmmm… Given the summer heat, it takes bravery, or quality oversight, to honor chocolate when its most prone to melting. 😬 Apparently, as of 2009, the annual celebration occurs globally on this day, which some suggest to be the anniversary of the introduction of chocolate to Europe in 1550. Before 1550, chocolate was primarily available in specific countries across South and Central America, such as Mexico. Now that we’re here, let’s delve into the history of chocolate with some fun facts that that will make your trivia pursuit or Jeopardy game stronger.  Who ate chocolate first? It all started in Latin America Chocolate’s 4,000-year history began in ancient Mesoamerica, present day Mexico. It’s here that the first cacao plants were found. The Olmec, one of the earliest civilizations in Latin America, were the first to turn the cacao plant into chocolate. They drank their chocolate during rituals and used it as medicine. Centuries later, the Mayans praised chocolate as the drink of the gods. By the 15th century, the Aztecs used cocoa beans as currency. Yes! That means chocolate was once money that literally grew on trees. How cool would that be too literally grow your own currency? 💸 What was chocolate first used as? Originally consumed as a bitter drink, it was prized as both an aphrodisiac and an energy booster. Mankind's love affair with chocolate stretches back more than five millennia. Which chocolate is best for brain? Among the different varieties of chocolate, dark chocolate takes the crown when it comes to benefiting our brain function. Research suggests that consuming high-flavanol cocoa improves blood flow to the brain, leading to enhanced attention, verbal learning, and memory. A study conducted by University of Nottingham researchers in 2012 demonstrated that indulging in dark chocolate increased blood flow to specific brain areas, resulting in improved performance and heightened alertness. How do people celebrate World Chocolate Day? By eating chocolate of course!  So, if reading these fascinating facts has ignited a craving for this glorious delight, rejoice! You're in the right place to embrace the sweet celebration. Stay sweet and enjoy the chocolate-filled celebration! Brock P.S. Next time you and your friends indulge together on dulci sweets, you can drop some of these fun chocolate facts on them. You’re welcome. 😊

Independence Day and the Meaning of Freedom

by Brock Meadows on Jul 04 2023
When it comes to holidays, there are few celebrations that hold as much significance to us as Independence Day. In my opinion, it ranks third, only behind Christmas and Easter, in terms of the joy and pride it brings to our hearts.  On the Fourth of July, the entire country unites to commemorate the birth of our nation, which is now 247 years old. It's a time for honoring and celebrating our shared values, ideals, and, most importantly, our freedom. Embracing Our Shared Values: As we gather with our loved ones on this special day, we are reminded of the values that have shaped our nation—values such as family, faith, country, and community. These are the pillars upon which our society stands, and they continue to guide us in our pursuit of a better tomorrow. Independence Day is a time to reflect on the importance of these values and the profound impact they have on our lives. Embracing Ideals of Liberty: Independence Day is not only a celebration of our freedom but also a recognition of the ideals that define us as a nation. Liberty, integrity, justice, and opportunity are the cornerstones of our society, allowing us to thrive and grow as individuals and as a collective. It is through these ideals that we are granted the freedom to live, love, and pursue our dreams. Freedom to Overcome Challenges: While freedom is a precious gift, it does not guarantee an easy path in life. As the iconic patriot Rocky Balboa once said, "The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows." Life can be tough and unforgiving, and success and happiness are not handed to us without effort, responsibility, and perseverance.  Rocky continues, “It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody! Cowards do that, and that ain't you! You're better than that!” Despite the challenges we face, it is our determination, resilience, and ability to keep moving forward that defines our strength and ultimately leads to victory. The United States of America: Imperfect, Yet Great: It is essential to recognize that our country is far from perfect. Try or Do?

by Brock Meadows on Jun 20 2023
Yes, it is true; you will miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. That’s the  phrase often spoken that expresses the value of ‘trying’.  Trying is important and most certainly has value. Trying is a Good thing.  But let me ask you this: Is trying truly enough? Are we really giving our best when we settle for trying? Trying is a word, an attitude, and mindset that can have a limiting effect.  When we use it as a soft commitment, a possibility, or a maybe, it becomes a crutch and an excuse to avoid accountability.  Trying is dangerously vague and uncommitted, leaving the door open to escape responsibility and not see things through. On the other hand, simply replacing ‘Try” with ‘Do’ brings commitment to the forefront. Your action is no longer a ‘possibility’ it’s a promise.  A promise to create a plan, put in the work, complete the training. Continue to show up, prepare, practice, and achieve.  My point is, with best intentions, a lot of people will ‘try’ to do something.  “I’ll try to start exercising,” “I’ll try to be more positive,” “I’ll try to stop being on social media more than I know I should,” “I will try to be more present when I’m with my family,” or “I will try to prioritize my day with the most important items so I can be most productive.”  But here's the hard truth: Trying without a firm commitment often leads to a sense of stagnation and a feeling of not winning. And a lot of people feel like they aren’t winning.  Perhaps, and don’t anyone get upset with me (I am your friend and I have lots of chocolates) –  You’ve been trying for too long. Consider this: TRYING is an attempt to change with minimal commitment.  On the other hand, DOING IS A COMMITMENT TO ACHIEVES A SPECIFIC RESULT.  The answer could very well be found in this one small shift; this one word change… Stop Trying. Start Doing!!! By making the shift from trying to doing, we demonstrate our dedication to achievement.  Remember the wise words of the legendary teacher, Yoda, who said, "Do or do not. There is no try." These simple yet profound words highlight the importance of commitment and giving our endeavors our absolute best. Trying can be a comfortable place, a safety net that shields us from the fear of failure. But true growth and achievement lie in our commitment to doing.  It's time to shed the vague promises of trying and embrace the power of action and commitment. DO Your Best, Brock P.S. For all that is good, right, and sweet about chocolate there is NO way you have this kind of love and encouragement sent your way on a weekly basis from any other company😊 So be part of the Good and Positive and Share this message with the those in your world.

3 Things People Will Remember About You

by Brock Meadows on Jun 13 2023
I pray that what I share each Tuesday has meaning to you (in some capacity) and is of value in your life.  Here’s where I felt led to share today… Happiness and Peace are not to be pursued, they are to be attracted by the person we choose to become.  Far more than money, job, car, house, etc.. When your life on this earth is finished…People will remember: If they could count on you. How you made them feel.  And the good you did for others.  Think about each of those for a minute.  Simple I know, but is it not true?  At the end of one’s life, doesn’t one or all of those items come to your mind?  Here’s a few more attributes and actions that will help you live a good and bright life: It is impossible to avoid criticism unless you choose to play it “safe” and remain on the sidelines. As Aristotle said, ‘The only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, say nothing and be nothing.’  Whatever you do, some people will find fault. We must not allow ourselves to be put off by that.  Instead, look for any truth in it, and use it to make you better.  Getting offended is easy. So is letting the goodness of your heart be taken advantage of.  Increase self-awareness and become less apt to take and keep offense, or be easily hurt. Always be strengthened by knowing who you are, the honor and integrity in which you do anything, and the purpose that drives you.  You do that, and you will be far happier than most. You’ll have peace in your heart, and live a rewarding life. ❤️ Your Friend, Brock P.S. Speaking of someone you could always count on…Don’t forget about Dad. Father’s Day is only 6 days away.  Don’t Delay. Order Today.

Tina Turner And Dulci Sweets

by Brock Meadows on Jun 06 2023
Inspired by the lyrics of the famous Tina Turner song, and her biggest hit (May she be rocking away in heaven today).   What’s Chocolate Got to do, Got to do with it?…   Answer = EVERYTHING 😊   It takes us back in time - nostalgic.  It slows us down.  It makes us smile. It can be fun. Romantic. Joyful.   It can say Thank you.  It can say I love you. It can say I’m thinking of you.  It can say a lot or a little.   It can bring people together.  Encourage us to share with others. At least sometimes (if there’s enough chocolates) 😆 To be generous and think of others.    Really good chocolate can remind us of the little things in life that make it sweet and beautiful.    Especially, when the chocolates are hand-crafted specialty sweets made with purpose, delivered with a message of hope, joy and thankfulness.     Products, gifts, and community built with a passion for highlighting the good and positive. Serving people who love extraordinary chocolate.    Definitely worth sharing and always needed.    Kinda like a classic song that as soon as you hear it, makes you smile and instantly puts you in a happy place.    Would you agree?    We’d very much enjoy hearing what chocolate is to you and why you love it – dulci sweets chocolate that is. 😊   Make it a Sweet and Beautiful day,   Brock    P.S. What’s your favorite Tina Turner song? After ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’, I’m going with ‘The Best’
