The Creator’s Plan

The Creator’s Plan

“Gabriel?”
“I’m here,” the archangel said, kneeling before the Creator.

“It is time.”

“Time?”

“For a baby to be born,” the Creator spoke softly. He continued, “The life of this child is to be protected at all costs.”

“Who is this child?” asked Gabriel.

“Your time of understanding will soon come. For now, you are to assemble your greatest team of angelic warriors. Not for their strength and might only but, first, for their stealth.”

“Stealth?” Gabriel asked.

“Yes, their ability to operate undetected behind enemy lines while armed to protect humans is critical,” the Creator answered.

“I understand,” the archangel replied.

The Creator continued, “The enemy knows nothing of the significance of this child, and neither will your team. Not until the appropriate time. But the child’s life is, as is all of humanity, surrounded by evil. And the life must be fully protected.”

“When?”

“Soon. Assemble your team and await further instructions.” 

“What is the message to our chosen forces?” asked Gabriel, knowing his teams were always curious and ready to fight. The opportunity to pursue the enemy behind enemy lines in the earthly realm is the hope of every angelic warrior.

“To protect the child and to do so undetected by the fallens. That is all they need to know. For now, the less they know about the child, the better for them. They must only fight the fallens to defend the child’s life and to otherwise protect one another.”

“Where?” asked Gabriel, now understanding there were to be no more intrusive questions regarding the mission. He trusted the Creator wholeheartedly and knew he would be told everything he needed at just the right time.

“Nazareth.”

And so it began….
