Two Faith-Fueled Truths for 2025

We all want to live lives full of meaning, fulfillment, and purpose. But, let’s be honest—sometimes we find ourselves stuck. Comfortable, yet unfulfilled. Why? Because we’re often tangled in a web of distractions, seeking approval where it doesn’t matter, and compromising our faith along the way.

Building upon last week’s message about embracing your purpose and separating it from the noise of life, I’m sharing two critical truths that can transform your path as we move forward in 2025.

Disclaimer: neither truth is soft and fuzzy. In fact, they might be tough to hear. They were for me. Or should I say, they are for me. Because, the greater challenge is understanding they persist. They can’t be considered today, and not the next, for they are essential to moving forward in faith and purpose.  Let’s take a hard look at where we’ve been and where we’re heading.

Truth #1: Stop Giving Your Best to People Who Don’t Care About Your Success

In today’s world, that often begins with the constant pull of social media. We find ourselves scrolling for validation in the form of likes and follows, but have you ever stopped to ask: Why am I opening this app? Why do I feel the need for external approval?

Life is too short to spend chasing likes. If the product is “free,” you are probably the product. Ouch! It’s not a comfortable truth, but I care enough to say it because I want us to recognize where we’re investing our time and energy.

Where’s the button for Respect? For Character? For Integrity? We’re all seeking to belong, but at what cost?

At the end of the day, we have a choice: to seek the approval of the world or to seek God’s approval. The decision we make will determine the trajectory of our lives.

Truth #2: Do Something Every Day That Requires FAITH

The second truth is about faith. It’s about doing something every single day that stretches us, challenges us, and requires us to surrender.

Faith is about trust, not comfort. It’s about stepping out, even when we feel unsure.

Whether it’s volunteering to prayer out loud for others in your group, sharing your testimony, or doing the right thing when it’s unpopular, these steps of faith embolden us to live the life God has called us to.

The world might laugh or judge, but that’s not what matters. It’s about being bold in your faith, even when it’s not the popular choice. What matters is becoming the person God created us to be, fully trusting Him in every moment.

Full disclosure: sharing this with you hasn’t been easy. I’ve struggled with caring too much about what others think. The world can make us cynical, guarded, and calloused. But God keeps reminding me that we are called to live differently. We are called to trust Him fully and show kindness, grace, and love to others—no matter the cost.

I pray this message has been of value to you. I know I was prompted to write it for some reason, and that reason just can’t be for myself. If you know someone that you feel would benefit from reading it, please pass it on with the personal invitation to join us here every week.

With faith and courage,

Brock
