The Faith-Filled Leap

Last week, we wrapped up Part 2 of “The Rules That Set Us Free,” and y’all…
The Safety Third rule hit a nerve (in the best way possible).

Your messages. Your comments. The emails. The “Wait, WHAT does that mean?!” replies.

So here we are—with a whole message just for it.

Let’s dig into the good stuff:

"Growth and comfort can’t ride in the same car. Take the leap. Just remember to pack the parachute.”

Sounds intense, right? Maybe even a little reckless?

But it’s not recklessness. It’s real-life courage.

🪂 “Safety Third” Isn’t About Danger. It’s About Direction.

When we say Safety Third, we’re not saying safety doesn’t matter.

We’re saying that faith, purpose, and obedience come first—even when they’re uncomfortable.

Because let’s be honest:

• We want the WHOLE MAP before we move.

• We want the clear path.

• The guaranteed success.

• The green lights all the way through.

But guess what?

The whole map isn’t coming.

And thank God it’s not.

If He showed us the full picture of this Dulci journey before we began?
We would’ve smiled, said, “Cool, that sounds neat” and RAN the other direction.

Too hard. Too risky. Too “what if I fail?”

Let alone my immediate questioning–“what do I know about chocolate?”

But God doesn’t give us the whole thing because He doesn’t need us to understand it.
He just needs us to trust Him.

Faith means you don’t have to understand completely to obey immediately.
— Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

👉🏼 You Don’t Need Certainty. You Just Need a Step.

Here’s the wild truth:

You can be uncertain and still be faithful.

✨ You don’t need a perfect plan. You just need to take the next step.
✨ Peace doesn’t come from knowing every turn—it comes from knowing He’s with you.

So pack the parachute.
Take the leap.
Stop waiting to get ready to get ready.

Timing Matters… But “Now” Is All You’ve Got

John Maxwell said it best:

“So many people are always getting ready to get ready. They never get going, because they never feel ready.”

Let that sink in.

Some of us are planning our obedience like it’s a project proposal.
But God’s not asking for your PowerPoint.
He’s asking for your participation.

➡️ You overthink yesterday.
➡️ You overestimate tomorrow.
➡️ But you underestimate today.

And guess what?

Today is the only time you can act on.

So What Does This Mean for You?

Maybe it’s a decision you’ve been putting off.
Maybe it’s a move, a conversation, a creative project, a leap of faith.

You don’t need the whole plan.
You don’t need all the answers.
You just need to trust the One who holds the map.

Take. The. Next. Step.

Make the call.
Send the message.
Apply for the thing.
Start the project.
Sign up. Show up. Say yes.

Because tomorrow? You’ll be so glad you did.

Because the good life isn’t stumbled into.

It’s created—one small, faith-filled, purpose-packed step at a time.
