New Things God Is Doing

Hey friends,

Spring has a beautiful way of waking up what looked lifeless.

Trees start budding. Flowers push through the dirt. Brown fields turn green again. Everywhere you look, creation is whispering the same hopeful truth: new life is possible.

That is what makes Isaiah 43:19 so powerful:

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?”

Not I might. Not I used to. God says, “I am doing a new thing.”

Right now. Today. Even if it has not fully bloomed yet.

Here is where many of us miss it. We expect God’s new work to arrive loud and obvious. We look for fireworks, instant breakthroughs, and big emotional moments.

But often, God’s new thing begins more like spring.

Quietly.
Steadily.
Beneath the surface.

It starts as a seed, not a full garden.

A softened heart.
A fresh perspective.
A little more peace.
A little more trust.
A small open door.
A prayer you are finally ready to pray.

That is the beauty of how God works. He does not just create what is grand. He grows what is lasting.

And that matters, because we live in a world that chases fresh feelings. New excitement. New energy. New emotion. But feelings come and go. God’s work is deeper than a passing feeling.

Sometimes His new thing looks like strength where there used to be weariness.
Sometimes it looks like hope where there used to be discouragement.
Sometimes it looks like courage to begin again.

Friend, do not overlook the small beginnings.

The first bloom of spring does not cover the whole field, but it tells you winter is losing its grip.

That may be exactly what God is doing in your life right now.

A small sign.
A fresh breath of hope.
A reminder that He is not finished with you.

So let me ask you:

Can you see it?

Can you see the new thing God may already be growing, even if it is still tender, still quiet, and still unfolding?

This spring, do not just look for fresh feelings. Look for faithful evidence of God’s hand at work.

Notice the bud.
Notice the growth.
Notice the shift.
Notice the grace.

Our God is always creating, always renewing, always making beauty from what looked bare.

And maybe, just maybe, the most beautiful thing blooming this spring is happening in you.

Take a quiet moment this week and ask, “Lord, what new thing are You doing in me?” Then share that encouragement with someone who may need hope too.

With gratitude and hope,

Brock

P.S. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and spring is showing off. Seems like the perfect season to share a little sweetness, a little encouragement, and a whole lot of Goodness Created to be Shared.
