Do All You Can With All You’ve Been Given
Hey friends,
One of my favorite quotes to share is this:
“Do all you can with all you’ve been given.”
Simple words. Big responsibility.
Because life isn’t just about what we have. It’s about what we do with what we have.
The gifts.
The opportunities.
The relationships.
The influence.
The time.
The people God places in our path.
None of it is accidental. And none of it is meant to be wasted.
Romans 12:6 reminds us, “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.”
I love that.
It doesn’t say compare your gifts.
It doesn’t say hide them.
It doesn’t say wait until everything feels perfect.
It says, use them.
Use what God has placed in your hands.
And Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
That means our effort matters.
How we show up matters.
How we lead matters.
How we love our families matters.
How we serve our customers, friends, neighbors, and communities matters.
It’s not about perfection. Thank goodness for that.
It’s about faithfulness.
Faithfulness to give our best.
Faithfulness to keep going when it’s hard.
Faithfulness to encourage others.
Faithfulness to use our gifts instead of burying them.
Faithfulness to trust God with the outcome while still doing our part with excellence.
And as Father’s Day approaches, I can’t help but think about legacy.
The best fathers and father figures don’t just tell us what matters.
They show us.
Through sacrifice.
Through presence.
Through hard work.
Through quiet prayers.
Through showing up when no one is clapping.
Through doing all they can with all they’ve been given.
That’s legacy.
Not just what we leave behind one day, but what we build in people every day.
A kind word.
A handwritten note.
A phone call.
A prayer.
A thoughtful gift.
A moment of encouragement.
A decision to be present.
These things may seem small, but they are never insignificant.
At Dulci Sweets, we believe gifts are more than products. They are opportunities to connect, honor, encourage, and remind someone they matter.
So this Father’s Day, maybe the invitation is simple:
Honor the people who have used what they were given to pour into you.
Maybe it’s your dad.
Maybe it’s a grandfather.
Maybe it’s a coach, mentor, uncle, brother, friend, or father figure who stepped in with love and consistency.
Tell them.
Thank them.
Celebrate them.
And then ask yourself: What has God placed in my hands, and how can I use it well?
Your gifts matter.
Your effort matters.
Your words matter.
Your example matters.
Your love matters.
So do all you can.
Not with what you wish you had.
Not with what someone else was given.
Not someday when everything feels perfect.
Do all you can with what God has placed in your hands today.
Use your gifts.
Love your people.
Serve well.
Lead with purpose.
Give your best.
Trust God with the results.
With gratitude and belief in what God is doing through you,
Brock
P.S. Father’s Day is the perfect reminder that some of the greatest gifts in life are presence, love, wisdom, sacrifice, and steady encouragement. This week, make the call, send the text, share the memory, or give the gift. Let the fathers and father figures in your life know their impact mattered.
