3 Words to Silence the Storm

Hey friend,

You’ve heard that voice, haven’t you?

“This won’t work.”
“You’re not enough.”
“Things will never change.”

It’s sneaky. Subtle. Persistent. That voice that shows up in your quiet moments, when you’re trying to rest, trying to hope, trying to believe again.

Let’s be clear—that voice is not from God.

It’s fear.
It’s doubt.
It’s the enemy, trying to set up shop in your mind, hoping you won’t notice he’s moved in.

But here’s the good news…

You don’t have to fight those lies alone. And you’re NOT the Only One that has to battle them.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re the only one struggling to stay positive… the only one wrestling with that internal critic… I want to lovingly remind you: you’re not.

Not by a long shot.

We all have those moments—the mental spirals, the second-guessing, the fear-based forecasting. And while the world might tell you to “just think positive,” we know there’s a deeper, more powerful answer.

One that doesn’t ignore fear, but confronts it with truth, and let’s Faith have the final word.

When your heart starts to race and your thoughts begin to spiral, you don’t have to make a speech or pull out a 5-point sermon.

You only need to whisper three words:

“I trust You.”

Say it out loud.
Say it like a lifeline.
Say it even when you don’t feel it—especially when you don’t.

Because those words aren’t wishful thinking. They are an act of spiritual defiance.
They’re a declaration of truth in the face of fear.

Here’s what I love about God: He’s not offended by your questions.
He doesn’t turn away when you’re scared.
He doesn’t need you to “get it all together” before you come to Him.

He doesn’t flinch at your doubts. He invites you to bring them to Him.
He welcomes your worries.
He can handle your fears.

And in exchange?

He gives you comfort.
He gives you strength.
He reminds you—He’s got you.

“Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn…”
— Psalm 37:4–6

So the next time those lies sneak in, you don’t have to argue.
You don’t have to spiral.
You don’t have to fix it all.

You just need to redirect your heart.

Look up.
Speak it.
Say it again.

“I TRUST You.”
